Bayer Brazil has been elected as one of "The Best Places to Work" by VOCÊ S/A, one of the major business publishers in Brazil. The company has now received the honor for the second time in a row.
"We are very proud to be selected as one of the best places to work, mainly because 2013 is the anniversary of Bayer, and it’s a great achievement. I would like to thank the Brazilian team for their engagement and dedication," said Theo van der Loo, Senior Bayer Representative for Brazil.
Bayer was among the top eight in its category in the chemical and petro-chemical sector. In general, the results were similar to 2012. The magazine highlighted the value that the company's employees place on the support that Bayer gives in training and further education, as well as the opportunity to have an international career.
Around 129,000 employees across 480 companies and in 17 different industries participated in the electronic poll. Subsequently, a total of 4,500 personal interviews were conducted covering all participants selected for a second round. From Bayer Brazil, 600 colleagues participated in the e-poll and more than 25 were interviewed in its offices.
